Meditation and Guided Imagery Workshop;  3 sessions of 2.5hrs per session

Meditation has been used for centuries to calm the mind and allow the space to listen to your inner wisdom. Meditation takes many forms and there are a number of ‘types’ of meditation available. This 3 session workshop will introduce you to meditation and allow you to experience the benefits that meditation and guided imagery can bring to your life.

The workshop structure:

Session 1 - To introduce the varieties of meditation; distinguish between meditation, guided imagery, and visualization; to guide participants through practice in different types of meditation.

Session 2 - To learn about the benefits of meditation; experience meditation and guided imagery techniques; learn about the uses of imagery, particularly for healing dis-ease.

Session 3 - To feel the energy around the body; practice chakra balancing; to consider the research that shows meditation does have an impact that is greater than the individual.
